In Shade3D Ver.23, we will add new features such as linear function for BIM/CIM support and improve some features, in addition to animation functions supporting VR and WebGL. In this topic, we will introduce the overview of the main functions. (The screen shows the features under development and is subject to change.) Linear Shape Linear shapes used for roads and railroad tracks will be supported. It can be created like "Line Object" in the current function, and settings for cant curves can be changed. Users can create road surfaces by combining linear shapes and swept surfaces, allowing for more realistic modeling. Fig.1 Linear shape Animation: Morph target Deformation and merge of polygon mesh by morph target is now supported. Multiple facial expressions can be created for a single facial model, and each can be composited by percentage. This improves the expression of character animation such as creation of motions which are difficult with skin deformation. Fig.2 Merge multiple facial expressions by morph target Animation: Multi-timeline Multiple key frame animations can be kept in one scene. Character materials with motions such as walking and running can be handled as one scene file. Fig.3 Keep multiple motions by the multi-timeline Enhancement of glTF input/output for animation The support of the morph target and multi timeline is also reflected to the input/output in the glTF format. When creating contents for VR and WebGL, it will be possible to create and edit models including advanced animation information. Polygon mesh in the boolean calculation part The boolean calculation part will correspond to polygon mesh. The real-time reflection of the assembly by the hierarchical structure of the part allows the quick adjustment of the position and modification of the original shape. Modeling by combining basic shapes, trial and error in tasks such as integration, which is the final step in the 3D printing process, and redoing can be done efficiently. Fig.4 Modeling by assembly of hierarchical structure of boolean calculation part Interference avoidance in surface replicator In the surface replicator, it will be possible to arrange objects without overlaying. It is useful for avoiding unnatural overlaying when arranging objects randomly. Available only in Professional version) IFC import, linkage with 3D bar arrangement CAD, design check data It will support reading of design verification information files attached as external references to IFC files output by 3D bar arrangement CAD. Information assigned in design can be checked in Shade3D, improving the efficiency of design verification. |
