Basically, "Web authentication" via internet is used for the
subscription. Licenses are managed in the Forum8 server, and hardware protect
keys are not necessary anymore. Users can use the latest version of products
supported by the subscription service after online configuration.
However, we sometimes receive an inquiry that a web authentication error
occurs and the program does not run in the product mode. In this topic,
we will explain the most common web authentication errors and how to deal
with them.
All licenses are used on other devices (4011)
This error message is displayed when users try to authenticate a license
on a PC other than the activated one with all owned licenses are used (activated).
Basic subscription licenses can be used on PC up to the number of your
license. If you have 2 licenses of a product, you can use that program
on 2 PCs you authenticated first. Even if the product is not launched on
the initially activated PCs, it cannot be used on other PC.
Floating / USB / NetPRO options allow you to use one product on multiple
PCs.
* USB and NetPRO options are available for limited software.

Invalid serial code (4004)
This message appears when the input serial code is incorrect.
A serial code for the web authentication is a combination of capital letter
and number, and it is a different serial from a serial number (5 or 10
digits number) of hardware protect key.
You can check your product serial codes in "License data" on
your user information page. We recommend you to copy and paste serial codes
to prevent inputting wrong codes.
* Confirm that there is no space in front and behind the input code.
* Enter each serial code of software and option.
This message also appears if the web authentication account setting (area
and user code) or the grade setting (Lite / Standard / Advanced etc.) is
inappropriate.
Initial PROXY setting for Web authentication account setting is "Use
Internet Explorer settings" that proxy setting of Windows system is
applied. Please change it according to your usage environment.
