Forum8 participated ITS China 2011 held in Tianjin, China on 21(Thu), 22(Fri) July, 2011. The 2nd holding hosted by Ministry of Transport Road Research Institute and China and Tianjin Municipal Highway Administration Bureau was implemented for the purpose of aiming the contribution for the new basis in China with the theme "Mobility,Green and Efficiency". The participant from the whole country exceeded 300 persons as a conference ITS industry top class of China. Various subjects which attract attention in ITS relation, such as the spread of ETC systems, new style traffic management and control, traffic information service, and a car navigation system, were discussed in this place. Forum8 exhibited centering on UC-win/Road drive simulators, such as a high-speed simulator, safe driving simulator and handless driving research, the cooperation with the newest devices, such as UC-win/Road for MindSet, and the newest solution were introduced. From the experience operation of UC-win/Road drive simulator to handless operation using Kinect (TM) and consciousness speed control of MindSet, our booth set up the active experience corner uniquely in many exhibiting companies and had the overwhelming popularity. In China which economic development and an infrastructure building are accelerating, with increasing the number of possession of a car in recent years, it is the present condition currently faced also with various subjects, such as traffic congestion and traffic safety. UC-win/Road 3DVR solution of Forum8 can be used broadly as a platform of deliberations from the design to management. Please continue to expect the activity of Forum8 in China.
