From November 1 to 2, 2017, the 6th "Telematics Taiwan 2017" organized by Taiwan Telematics Industry Association was held in HNBK International Convention Center, and FORUM8 Taiwan participated in it as an exhibitor and lecturer. Under the theme of [Connected Car x Autonomous Driving x New Future], leading companies and specialists around the world were gathered, and lectures about the market trend and the technologies such as car telematics, autonomous driving, and AI. Car telematics related companies showcased their technologies, and a lot of participants had exchanges and business talks at chatting corners arranged in the venue. At the FORUM8 booth, 3D real-time VR software UC-win/Road, MindWave Drive, compact drive simulator, and HTC VIVE plug-in driving were showcased. In the academic society session, FORUM8 delivered a lecture about VR solutions and UC-win/Road. We introduced new functions of UC-win/Road, camera sensors, vehicle control function, and HUD screen function through the Road demonstration. FORUM8 will continue to develop, provide, and spread the most advanced VR technologies in the wide fields including the automotive industry.
