"Smar City Summit & Expo 2015" was held at Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall for 4 days (Jan. 20 (Tue) - 23 (Fri), 2015). The demonstration experiments aimed at thoroughgoing environment-conscious city (Smart City) by controlling the urban infractructure and traffic system etc. have been lately advanced around the world. Taiwan also has carried out the Smart City Plan and some of the local governments have started to archieve the results gradually. Under this situation, FORUM8 participated in Smart City Summit & Expo held in Taipei. FORUM8 introduced the latest solutions for CIM (Construction Information Modeling) including driving simulation, evacuation, disaster prevention, flood analysis etc. this time focused on 3D VR software UC-win/Road. FORUM8's booth was right next to the booth of Government Area which was an excellent place. Therefore many people stopped by FORUM8 booth and especially the demo simulator which allows you to experience driving received an extensive attention. The local government and companies have advanced the Smart City Plan with the support from government. FORUM8 would like to use this opportunity to provide our software and IT technologies related to architecture, civil engineering, traffic, safety and disaster prevention etc.
